Santa Dash

Dogs are most welcome (in fancy dress if you wish!). However, they must be kept on a lead for the duration of the event and owners are responsible for clearing up any mess.

In a bid to keep with our sustainable ethos, we will not be providing free Santa Suits this year. Instead we would love for you to wear your best festive gear. Free Santa hats will be provided by Riverside at the start line – these will be available on a first come, first served basis.

The route will be approximately 2.5 miles around Hemel Hempstead Town Centre, including the historic Old Town and Gadebridge Park.

There are no restrictions on who can take part in this event; Santa Dash is suitable for all ages and abilities. Everybody is welcome to come together, have some festive fun and help raise funds for The Hospice of St Francis.

This event is for fun and is not timed. You can run, walk or dance if you want to!

You have the choice to receive you event pack via post or by collecting from the Hospice, or one of our charity shops. You can choose this when you book your place.

The Santa Dash route is suitable for wheelchairs. If you have any questions, please do contact us so we can make sure you can accommodate your needs as best we can.

The event will start and finish at Riverside Shopping Centre, HP1 1BT.

We are not asking for a minimum value of sponsorship for this event but we would encourage you to raise as much sponsorship as possible to help support the special care provided by The Hospice of St Francis.

Not really no, you can take it at your own pace but we do recommend that you speak with your GP first if you have any medical conditions that might affect your ability to take part in this event.

There is plenty of parking around Hemel Hempstead Town Centre including in Riverside Shopping Centre and the Water Gardens. Parking in Riverside is free to the first 100 bookings and these are available on a first come, first served basis. These need to be booked at the time of booking your Santa Dash tickets.
