On Saturday, bereaved children and their families gathered at the Hospice, for our Christmas Craft event, held annually by our Family Support Team. The children were able to visit with therapy dog Lottie (pictured), enjoy a festive treat and create six different kinds of crafts.
Many of the children enjoyed decorating reindeer which will be used to decorate the Hospice’s Christmas tree.
The Hospice supports around 100 children who have lost a parent, grandparent, sibling or other relative. We also help children dealing with serious illness in their family.
