Our Memory Tree
The Hospice of St Francis Memory Tree is a beautiful wall sculpture, handcrafted by local artist Claudia Ashley-Brown, and made possible with the support of a kind donor.
Situated in the peaceful setting of The Sanctuary, the Memory Tree is a meaningful way to pay tribute to the memory of someone special, whilst supporting vital care for patients and their families.
The Memory Tree is made up of 450 gold, copper and russet metal leaves, with a bronze trunk and branches. In keeping with the beautiful woodland surroundings of the Hospice, the Tree also now features birds, butterflies, flowerheads, rabbits, squirrels, hedgehogs and a pheasant.
Your Dedication
- To purchase an inscribed Memory Tree leaf in any colour for one year the price is £150, or a monthly Direct Debit of £12.50.
- To renew your leaf after a year, we suggest a minimum donation of £50 per year, or £4.20 a month.
- Prices for our stunning woodland tributes range from £300 for a butterfly, £500 for a flowerhead to £1000 for a rabbit or a squirrel. Payments can also be made on a monthly basis via Direct Debit.
- Unless you choose to renew it, your inscribed leaf or woodland tribute will remain on the Memory Tree for a year, after which point we will send it to you as a unique keepsake.
We welcome you to visit us to put the leaf or woodland tribute on the Tree, or we can place the leaf on the Tree on your behalf, if you prefer. The doors to the Hospice will always remain open for you to come and view the Memory Tree, and to have a moment of reflection and remembrance in The Sanctuary.
Dedicate a leaf or woodland tribute on The Hospice of St Francis Memory Tree and to help us to continue our care for other patients and their families in our community
To discuss your dedication please contact our In Memory Fundraiser Sarah Watson at sarah.watson@stfrancis.org.uk or call on 01442 869555 and she can walk you through the process.
